A Place of My Own 

This fall, I've needed a little time to myself every once in a while and I finally found the perfect place. It has been said that every cat needs a high place and a hiding place, and this spot is both.

It's in the back, and it's in a cupboard they don't use much. The first time I spent a little time there, one weekend a little while ago, Jenny panicked because she couldn't find me. I didn't mean to cause trouble but I like being hard to find sometimes. You should have seen her face when she opened the cupboard and I looked her in the eye!

Now everyone knows my special place, but they respect my privacy. If you stop by and I'm not out, that is where I usually am - enjoying a quiet moment alone.
