Veterinary Technician

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Jenny has 2 daughters, a dog and a cat. She has been happily employed here since 1994. (More than half her life!) As a child, she raised and showed rabbits and guinea pigs. Her favorite part of her job is helping and playing with the many different types of pets, whether they be puppies, rats or bearded dragons. She also loves the client-technician bond that forms from time spent with the owners as well as the pets. Her favorite past-times include hanging out with her daughters, watching movies, playing soccer and cheering on the Chicago Bears.

………..Although I grew up just outside Portland< OR, I've lived in Arizona for most of my adult life. I have worked in the animal industry in some form since the age of 13, but professionally over the last 20 plus years. I have had the opportunity to work with both large and small animals, held positions of Front Desk Administration, Hospital Management and Veterinarian Technician. I've worked alongside some amazing doctors and learned so much about the veterinary industry. When outside of work, I enjoy camping, horseback riding, traveling, and being a homebody snuggled up with my Belgian Malinois, binge watching Netflix. But most often, you can catch me spending time with my husband, our two daughters, 1 son, 1 son-in-law, and most importantly, our highly on the move grandson. We live on our property with our 5 dogs, 6 cats , 4 goats, 6 chickens and 1 bearded dragon. I'm sure there are more to come.

We are all mourning the recent passing of Darlyn, who fought such a gallant fight, all the while performing her job without complaint. We miss her.

Kaitlyn was born and raised in Simi Valley, California but moved to Phoenix to pursue her degrees in Anthropology and Archaeology. She is currently working on her graduate program. Her love for animals has driven her to pursue work in the veterinary field while completing school.

In her spare time Kaitlyn enjoys traveling the world studying ancient cultures, and curling up with her fur-babies and reading a good book.
